Meeting the Needs for Cancer Data in AIAN Communities
Cancer is a leading cause of illness and death in American Indian and Alaska Natives (AIAN) throughout the United States. Because there are regional differences in cancer incidence rates in these communities, it is important that AIAN cancer data be presented in geographic detail in order to identify and support the most appropriate and effective cancer control measures.
This website presents annotated cancer surveillance data and educational information to meet the cancer control needs of AIAN communities across the United States.
